Quantum Leap Associates, Inc. was founded on the notion that world class technical support services need not be reserved for only the global, multi-national powerhouses. Rather, even the small and mid-size firms need, deserve and indeed can afford such levels of service.

The company was launched in 1997 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida when it's founder decided to leave his role as the CAE Technical Support Manager for Motorola in Boynton Beach, FL. In this function, he lead the Technical Support group in the Computer Aided Engineering Dept., which was responsible for the daily operational support of over 550 internal customers. These were all engineers (ME's, EE's and SE's) working on Sun, HP and SGI workstations and servers throughout 2 local plants, including remote international sites in Tokyo, Japan and Dublin, Ireland.

Besides the valuable management and leadership experience he had gained in working with an expert professional staff, his previous experience of personally supporting over 100 mechanical engineers (on tools such as Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics, MSC/Patran and others) proved invaluable. This latest experience of nearly 6 years, coupled with the previous 13 years working as a Systems Engineer supporting the RS/6000 Unix workstation (at IBM); Consulting CAD Manager (at Parkson Corporation); Sr. CAD Specialist for the southeast U.S. (at Prime Computer), and Sr. Mechanical Engineer in the Mechanical Engineering Analysis Group (Motorola - Ft. Lauderdale, FL) provided him with the required breadth and technical depth to make a leap of faith.

That leap was to create one of the most personable and technically competent consulting firms in South Florida. The intent was to offer a level of dedication, service and thoroughness that was an order of magnitude beyond what organizations had been used to receiving. The name 'Quantum Leap Associates' was a natural outgrowth of this premise, and the company was incorporated in November of 1997.

The culmination of over 22 years in the System Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Software Technical Support, Sales and Human Development fields were now available to other firms in South Florida, after a few well placed phone calls confirmed there was a definite need of these services.
